Welcome to the Stormwater Management Website.

Collier County has over 300 miles of canals, 52 water level control structures and 3 pump stations that are operated and maintained by the County in partnership with Florida’s Big Cypress Basin Board.  Additionally, the network of roadside drainage facilities within County and State transportation easements are operated and maintained as part of the stormwater collection system.

The County’s stormwater management mission is to meet the growth management goals of flood prevention, groundwater recharge, wetland preservation, and water quality protection.
