Our Mission:
Community Transportation is committed to providing safe,
accessible, and courteous transportation for the community
members.
Overview:
Collier County Alternative Transportation Modes Department
administers the Collier Area para Transit system for Collier
County. As the Community Transportation Coordinator (CTC),
the Department administers coordination of transportation
services for the disabled and economically disadvantaged.
Funding for these transportation services comes from a variety
of sources including the State TD Commission, Medicaid, Federal
and State grants and local County funding. The majority of
trips are provided to passengers traveling to medical appointments,
nutrition sites, and work. Use of the Collier Area para Transit
system requires pre-certification; all passengers using the
system are either disabled or low income.
